An excellent addition to the F-Prot Antivirus security software package has been released; a beta version of F-Prot Antivirus for Linux.
The Unix like operating system Linux enjoys substantial growth every day all around the world. One of the consequences is that virus writers have begun targeting the Linux platform itself. As Linux is often used as a file or mail server for windows networks, it is critical to be able to scan Linux machines for viruses and Trojans, even though native Linux viruses themselves are still relatively rare. Therefore, FRISK Software International has decided to offer a version of it's renowned antivirus software for the Linux platform and is committed to improving it to meet our customers needs.
FRISK Software International would appreciate feedback from users of F-Prot Antivirus for Linux to help us improve the product.
Please be advised that FRISK Software International cannot be held responsible for any consequences from using beta versions of it's products, including the beta version of F-Prot Antivirus for Linux.
